“Good Life Project”
Located within the premises of Good Shepherd Youth Center, Phan District, Chiang Rai Province, under the operation of Good Shepherd Sister. The “Good Life Project” was established in October 2006 and has been in operation for 19 years. The project initially aimed to encourage ethnic minority girls residing at the center to utilize their existing skills by engaging in cross-stitch embroidery during their free time after school. In addition to supporting the children within the center, the project expanded to include young women and women in the surrounding community. It provides training in sewing clothes, making bags, cross-stitching, and other handicrafts as a means to develop vocational skills. This allows them to earn income to support themselves and their families sustainably to this day.

We are committed to sustainable economic and social development for underprivileged families, young women, and women by providing vocational training and creating dignified employment opportunities in the field of handicraft production. Our efforts extend to urban, rural, and ethnic communities. We uphold the dignity of each producer by fostering a positive work environment that encourages participation in decision-making and ensures fair compensation. Our marketing channels include the global network of the Good Shepherd Sisters as well as other business and non-business platforms. We work to empower our target groups with confidence in building long-term sustainability by integrating support that enhances the overall well-being of each individual—physically, socially, educationally, and spiritually. This includes counseling, vocational training, and hands-on workshops.
